    In the army there was still segregation happening in American. They were separated by units.

    The president put out the Executive order that stated there were be no discrimination in working.

  • Air force

    In 1941, there was the first African American Air Force. It was called 99th Pursuit Squadron.

  • Woman Joined the army

    Women joined the army, they were separated from combat. They were administrative.

  • Economy

    The economy was increasing a lt after the attack on Pearl Harbor.

  • Violence

    African Americans left the south to seek work in the north and west. This lead to the eruption in Detroit.

  • The Attack

    In june 2,500 soldiers attacked Mexicans neighborhoods.

  • Truman

    President Truman helped take away integration in 1948.

  • Crop Work

    The Wartime helped a lt of people like the Mexicans. They helped harvest crops part as the Bracero Program They continued till 1964
