    1- Mussolini was a socialist before becoming a fascist. By 1919 a radically changed Mussolini had founded the fascist movement, which would later become the Fascist Party. 2- Benito Mussolini was executed on April 28th, 1945, along with his mistress Claretta Petacci. Their bodies were displayed in a plaza in Milan after their executions. 3- Mussolini adopted Hitler's ideals in regards to Jewish people and initiated the same discrimination policies against them.

    1- He was Austrian, this might seem odd, but he was influenced by his tecaher and he grew to despise the Austro-Hungarian Empire and express loyalty to Germany. 2- Whilst still an Austrian citizen Hitler was accepted into the Bavarian army. He was hurt on his leg at the Battle of the Somme, and was temporarily blinded by mustard gas. Hitler received two medals for bravery during the Great war: the Iron Cross Second Class in 1914 and the Iron Cross First Class in 1918.

    The Spanish Civil War began as a revolt by right-wing Spanish military officers in Spanish Morocco and spreads to mainland Spain. General Francisco Franco broadcasts a message calling for all army officers to join the uprising and overthrow Spain’s leftist Republican government. The Republicans succeeded in putting down the uprising in other areas. The Republicans and the Nationalists, then proceeded to secure their respective territories by executing thousands of suspected political opponents.

    In June 1938, the Nationalists drove to the Mediterranean Sea and cut Republican territory in two. Later in the year, Franco mounted a major offensive against Catalonia. In January 1939, its capital, Barcelona, was captured, and soon after the rest of Catalonia fell. With the Republican cause all but lost, its leaders attempted to negotiate a peace, but Franco refused. On March 28, 1939, the victorious Nationalists entered Madrid in triumph, and the Spanish Civil War came to an end.
