    The battle of Detroit took place in August 1812. The British had 400 soldiers; 100 regular soldiers and 300 militia and 600 First Nation warriors. America was led by General Hull and 2500 soldiers. General William Hull surrenders Fort Detroit and his army to the British without a fight. Hull had lost hope of defending. The British had taken the victory.

    The battle of Queenston Height took place in October 1812. The british was led by General Isaac Brock and his army of 1,500 soldiers and 250 First Nation warriors. The Americans were led by General Stephen Van Rensselaer. The American forces were taken by surprise. US Lieutenant Colonel Winfield Scott, taking command from the wounded commander Captain Wool, waved a white handkerchief to signal the American surrender. The victory was to British.

Vincent’s men marched to make a fast and hard attack on the sleeping enemy. The soldiers refused orders to keep quiet and fired the muskets too early. Both senior commanders were caught. The victory was to British.

    The battle of Beavers Dam took place on June 24, 1813. On the British there were 80 soldiers and 250 Kahnawake Mohawk warriors, with British Colonel Fitzgibbon. On the other hand, Lieutenant -Colonel Charles Boerstler led the Americans with 550 soldiers. Laura Secord overheard the Americans plan to attack the British. Laura immediately informed the British.The British had planned an attack and the Americans surrendered.

    On November 11, 1813 the battle of Crysler’s farm took place. The Americans had an army of 13 000 soldiers. However, the British had an army of 900 members including soldiers, militia, and First Nations Warriors. The Americans had decided on sending 2000 soldiers to attack the British first. However, the British were firm and did not loose. As a result, the Americans withdrew from the battle.

    The battle of Washington and Baltimore took place on 12th of September 1814. There was 36-42 powdered guns armed by 1000 British soldiers. The Americans won this battle and the British withdrew. General Robert Ross died in this battle.
