When it is time to vote again Jefferson is doing a 2nd term. He is because he won by a lot. -

We declared this act because we were trying to protect our sailors from impressment. This made lots of people mad and poor. -
Madison becomes president 1808
At the end of Jefferson's 2nd term he agrees with what George Washington said and didn't do a 3rd term. So James Madison is teh new Democrate-Rebuplican president. -
The battle of Tippacanoe
This was important because in this battle Native Americans battled and the Americans were happy because a leader named, died. But it made Natives want to join Great Britian. -

This is when the war begins and ends. We went to war because the British were stealing sailors off of our boats, so we declared war. -
Battle of Lake Erie
This is an important battle because we couldn't stand up to the British with sloiders but are ships were fast so we teamed up and did soliders and ships to attack them. -
Battle of Thames
This battle was important because we killed the Native American Indian leader ,Tecumseh. We also pushed the British back into Canada. -
British Burn Washington D.C.
When we were out fighting the British went to burn Washington D.C. and the surrounding town. Luckily it was raining not to long after. then the British were heading north. -
Battle at Lake Champlain
A newly built fleet was built and under Master Commandant Thomas Macdonough and they destroy a squadron of British soilders. -
Treaty of Ghent
This is important date because this almost ends the war. There was only one battle after at New Orleans. -
