  • Battle of Britain

    This battle showed Germany and the USA that Britain could not be knocked out of the war and was willing to fight to be heard. Which lead for the Americans to get help and Hitler to decide to invade the USSR.

  • Pearl Harbor

    This battle was very one-sided but this was undoubtedly a major battle. Japan had 6 aircraft carriers with more than 400 planes that attacked the Pearl Harbor.

  • Midway

    The Japanese Fleet tried to threaten and lure the Americans to destruction but ended up not in their favor and they lost four of their best carriers.

  • Stalingrad

    This battle was the wars turning point because after Stalingrad was over it the invasion in the USSR was over.

  • Normandy

    The battle of Normandy allowed fast liberation in Western Europe.

  • Battle of Berlin

    Under the command of Hitler there was three quarters of a million German troops there. Which were fighting with the Red Army and many innocent civilians died. But that battle ended that year when World War II was over.
