    Germany invades Poland, marking the official date of the start of the war.
  • Battle of Britain

    Battle of Britain
    This was a time period, in which the Nazi's were bombing Britain during the cover of night.
  • Pearl Harbor Attack

    Pearl Harbor Attack
    THe Japanese invaded the beaches of Hawaii in the U.S.A
  • Battle of Stalingrad

    This brutal warfare was a major turning point in WWII history. IT marked the time in which the Soviets were able to push back the Nazi's.
  • Battle of Milne Bay

    This battle was sparked by Japan's need for more Pacific regions. They attack Milne Bay in Autrailia, but were eventually pushed back.
  • Operation Torch

    This was the operation in which British-American soldiers entered North Africa during the African capaign, as an attempt to make sure that Germany didn't get any natural resouces that they could then control.
  • Battle of Kursk

    This was the Germans last defensive in the East that they could attempt. It was between the soviet union and the Germans, and was the costliest in the in the air force.
  • D-Day

    The United States invaded the beaches of Normandy. It was a brutal fight. They used a clicking system to keep track of eachother, which worked until the click was a gun. In the end the Allies were victorious.
  • Victory in Europs

    The allies celebrated a time in which the Nazi war was coming to an end. We were able to push out the Germans in the occupied cities and fight back. This is now a natinoal day in Europe celbrated yearly.
  • Japan Surrenders

    After America decided to drop the atomic bombs, Japan surrendered. These bombs were dropped as a message to say give up. A demonstration would never be enough with these violent soldiers.
