The potato eaters
The Potato Eaters is an oil painting which Van Gogh painted on April 1885 in the Netherlands. It is in the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
The original oil sketch of the painting is at the Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo, and he also made lithographs of the image, which are held in collections including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. The painting is considered to be one of Van Gogh's masterpieces. -

The truth is that Van Gogh believed that starry night was a faliure . The painting was one of van Gogh's late works, as he committed suicide the following year. -
The last painting
Wheatfield with Crows is a July 1890 painting by Vincent van Gogh. It has been cited by several critics as one of his greatest works. It is commonly stated that this was van Gogh's final painting. However, art historians are uncertain as to which painting was van Gogh's last. The evidence of his letters suggests that Wheatfield with Crows was completed around 10 July 1890 ,he painted this to express extreme loneliness and sadness.
Vincent Van Gogh died on the 29th of July 1890 .
