Born on June 11, 1913, one of the greatest coaches of all time was born in Brooklyn, New York ("Vince Lombardi"). Lombardi was not only known for being a great coach, but he was also known for being one of the most inspirational and motivational people in the history of sports. Lombardi made such an impact on the pro football league that they named the super bowl trophy after his coaching career was over. -

Lombardi didn't have to do the talking, his coaching did the talking. No matter who Lombardi's team played, every coach and player was beyond intimidated before they even stepped on the field(Arthur Daley). His coaching style was praised throughout the league. -

This shows that its not the players he has, it is solely the coaching of Lombardi that led his teams to success. -
