    For What its Worth
The song "For What it's Worth" hit the charts in 1966. This song somewhat paved the way to other artists speaking out against the war. The impact that the song had, like many others inspired many other artists to speak out not only during the Vietnam War, but other wars to follow.

This sculpture is located at Kent State University in Ohio. This picture was from 1970. The students began to get shot at with really bullets by the cops and one of the bullets got logged in the sculpture. The Vietnam War divided the United States. When music artists and bands began writing songs about the war, young adults and teenagers were beginning to protest the war. The music that became big hits during the war influenced people to get out and show the support for ending the war.
