The Tet Offensive was one the viet congs major offensive. It happen during celerbation of tet or new year, the south was off guard becuase the were celebrating. The Viet Cong attacked 36 major towns and cites but the one the scared the U.S was when 19 commandos entered a U.S embassy and held out for several hours, one or two commandos entered the embassy before being killed. -

My Lai Massarce
The My Lai Massacre a point in the war that showed how the americans soldiers were feeling. On march 16 a group of U.S soldiers, under the command of Lieutenant William Calley gathered several hundred men, women, and children from the village of My Lai and murdered them. -
The Easter Offensive
The Easter Offensive was another major offensive but this time is was the North Vietnamese, who were then joined by the Viet Cong. At first it look like the NVA would win becuase they caught the U.S and SVA off guard but then the U.S recovered quckly and launched massive bombing raids and starting blockading the NVA ports. The SVA also launched a massive counterattack. By the end of the Easter offensive, it was a loss for the NVA because the South lost 25,000 men while NVA lost 100,000 men. -

This was a turining poiot after the Paris peace talks, the U.S, Russia, and China said that they were done with this war, and all superpowers pull out support for the NVA and the SVA -
The fall of Saigon
The fall of Saigon was the final battle of the war, well some might not even consider it a battle because Saigon was lost with little fighting, most of the SVA and civilans all had fled elsewhere
