Resolution to end French Indochina war and this led to Vietnam being divided at the 17th parallel and was supposed to hold elctions. Ho chi minh didn't hold these elections because he knew he would be voted out and he would no longer be in charge. -

My Lai Massacre
American soliders killed about five hundred women and children. The event was going to be covered up but the peole who found out did not want the U.S. to be in Vietnam and it divided the nation. -
Invasion fo Cambodia
The U.S. and SOuth Vietmanese were both in Cambodia but this caused many protests against both sides. MAny deaths were a result of the protests and many schools were affected by it.
