France, Great Britain, the Soviet Union, the United States, Laos, China, and Cambodia all met in Geneva with the Vietminh and South Vietnam's anti-communist nationalists to settle a peace agreement. The Accords divided Vietnam temporarily over the 17th parallel. -

My Lai Massacre
A US platoon had massacred innocent civilians in My Lai in south Vietnam. They could find the Vietcong so they gathered up the villagers and shot more the 200 innocent Vietnamese. -
MLK assassination
MLK was shot from the top of his hotel balcony and was shot by James Earl Ray thrusting a high-powered rifle out a window and squeezed the trigger. -
Results of MLK's death
There were tons of riots breaking out over 100 cities. Everyone was fed up with being peaceful and now that their leader died they got mad. -
Robert Kennedy Assassinated
Robert Kennedy was killed by a Jordanian because of Kennedy's support with Israel. Kennedy died right before the results came out as to who the democrat in the election was going to be. -
Nixon President
Nixon won the election because Johnson backed out because of all the problems they were having with the Vietnam war. So everyone just decided that they either wouldn't vote or vote for Nixon.
