  • The Tonkin Resolution

    Two of the United States destroyers were attacked were attacked on August 2nd and August 4th by North Vietnamese. Since this events happened the United States congress passed The Gulf of Tonkin Resolution.
  • Operation Rolling Thunder

    After the attack on the U.S. base at Pleiku it lead to the Operation Rolling Thunder. The Operation Rolling Thunder was a bombing by the United States on North Vietnam.
  • American Troops Landing

    Tet Offensive was a military campaign back in the Vietnam War. It was launched on Januray 30th of 1968. It caused Viet Cong and North Vietnam to fight againest South Vietnam, The United States, and all of their other allies.

  • Kent State Shooting

    On May 4th 1970 an open fire 28 guardsmen open fired on a crowd at Kent State. Nine students were wounded, while four students were killed,This lead to around 500 colleges to shut down and many of them protested
  • The 26th Amendment

    During March of 1971 the US passed the 26th Amendment. It lowered the voting age to 18 years old instead of having to be 21 to vote.
