College students at Kent State University protested the Vietnam War. The national gurad came in to control the situation. They fired into the crowd, killing 4 and wounding several others. -
Last U.S. soldier left Vietnam
After almost 20 years of conflict, the last U.S. soldier left Vietnam. When everyone made it home, the public finally calmed down.
