This was a war maneuver by the North Vietnamese (Vietcong) to attack every major city and settlement in South Vietnam at once. Unfortunatly for them every attack was repelled. -
Paris Peace Talks
These talks took place towards the end of the war with delegates from both side of the war, and made some progress. But there was still 4 more years of bloodshed before the war finally ended. -
Planned Withdrawl of Troops
President Nixon announces that he plans to withdrawl all US troops out of vietnam on a secret timetable. -
Official End of War
This was the official end of the war.
