    On July 19, 1903, The Ford Motor Company began, selling 1,700 cars in its first year of business. How does this affect the history of vehicles? Easy, Ford is one of the biggest inspirations for all commercial vehicles today and was the first car company to go commercial on the road. Not to mention Ford is still one of the biggest automobile companies in the world.

    On September 16, 1908, William Durant formed General Motors, eventually becoming the world's biggest corporation. What is General Motors? Well, all the companies I just listed are the most iconic and known brands known for day-to-day vehicles.

    On February 17, 1911, The first electric starters were invented, eliminating the cranking mechanism needed to start cars until now. The electric ignition debuted one year later. How does this affect the evolution of vehicles? Without the invention of the most convenient electric ignition we would still have to be cranking our cars to get the engine to run, I think it's safe to say the electric ignition is better.

Well no matter where you are in America there is going to be a traffic light, and if you are a legal driver you have to follow them, it affects the roads very much!
