    1920 – Born on March 25 in Saras village, Gujarat, British India.
    1930 – Moved to Bombay (now Mumbai) with her family.
    1932 – At age 12, she participated in protests against the Simon Commission, marking her first act of defiance against British rule.
    1939 – Completed her Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Wilson College, Mumbai.

    Freedom Struggle & Congress Radio

    1942 – Joined the Quit India Movement and played a key role in the underground resistance. On August 14, she established Congress Radio, broadcasting nationalist messages against British rule from secret locations.
    November 12, 1942 – Arrested by the British along with her team.
    1943–1946 – Imprisoned at Yerwada Jail, Pune, for her revolutionary activities.

    Post-Independence Contributions

    1946 – Released from prison and resumed her studies.
    1948 – Earned a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Bombay.
    1950 – Became a lecturer in Political Science at the University of Bombay.

    Actively participated in academic and political discussions on Indian independence.
