The very first steamboat was made by James Watt. The steamboat moved faster then any other boat of its time. It could move even if there was no wind to make it move. It helped with travel and ship. Election of 1800
In the election of 1800 John Adams and Thomas Jefferson were both runing at the same time. No one won the electoral votes when they ran so it had to go to vote. Telegraph invented

In the war of 1812 the US took on the greatest navel powers in the world, Great Britain. In the war Great Britain did end up capture and burning of the nation's capital, Washington, D.C... By 1814 the US did win even with all that had happend to them.

Battle of New Orleans

The Battle of New Orleans was the last major battle of the war of 1812. 7,500 British toops went to battle with 4,500 US tropps lead by, Andrew Jackson. The battle only lasted 30 mins with the Us wining the fight makeing Jackson a hero. Prez: Martin Van Buren Trail of Tears was the removeal of all of the Cherokee Nation. It was called the Trail of Tears because it was very long walk even for this time and age its a long trip to take. Many people died on the trip from not eating or drinking.
