This court case went to the Supreme Court. It was an argument to integrate schools with the argument that children that go to black schools have a worse education. The doll test was a huge factor in the case to integrate schools. -

Rosa Parks was arrested for not giving up her seat on a bus during Jim Crow Era. Rosa Parks was working with MLK to integrate buses. -

The Little Rock Nine were the first nine black kids to go to integrate a white school. They were faced with harassment and trials just to get an education. One of the little rock nine didn't finish their year because they came back at the harassment they were facing. -

This was a protest in restaurants mostly held by college students. Students of all races would sit and refuse to get up to push restaurants to integrate. -
freedom riders
This was a group of black and white people who would travel across America protesting to integrate bus terminals and other public areas. Halfway through their trip they ended up continuing to move across the US. -
Birmingham Protests
This was a planned protest by MLK and many integration leaders. Birmingham was considered one of the most segregated cities and MLK wanted to integrate it to make a point to the US. This protet also included the Children's March. -

MLK assassination
Martin Luther King was assassinated while leading a protest in Memphis Tennessee. He was shot while walking out of his hotel on April 4, 1968.
