The Guilded Age had a large growth of cites and industrialization was a big factor in this age. It was a period for economical growth and urbanization. -

It was the cultural and economical influence that the US had on other countries. It included the Spanish American war and the annexation over Hawaii. -
Progressive era
It was a period of democratic reforms and regulations of monopolies. The US Government because very interested with domestic and foreign policy. -
WW1
It was a global war that had its start in Europe. It was also called "the Great war" and was one of the biggest wars in history. -
The Roaring 20's
The age consisted of flappers and the "new" KKK. It was a Jazz age and was ended by the Wall Street Crash. -
The Great Depression
The great depression was a worldwide economic depression and there was an increasing amount of unemployment for people. -
WW2
This was another global war that included the tragic events of the Holocaust. -
The Cold War
It was the military and political tension after the horrific events of WW2. -
Vietnam War
This war was fought between North Vietnam and South Vietnam. The US supported south Vietnam against the North Vietnam. -
Civil Rights Movement
This was the movement that called for equality for all people including colored people. Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks were the big influential leaders within this movement. -
Late 20th Century
This included the oil crisis and the end of the cold war. It also included a technological revolution and conservative resurgence. -
US in the 21st Century
The 21st century included the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Hurricane Katrina, Globalization, and the 2008 economic recession.
