    After all the taxes on things like tea, the people rebelled. On a December night. a bunch of people dressed as Indians stormed three British ships and dumped over 300 chests of tea into the water.

    This was the first war fought for independence from Britain. During this time the declaration of independence was signed and america declared its independence from Britain. This war started with the shooting at Lexington and concord and ended with the British surrender and signing of the treaty of Paris. The treaty was officially signed September 3, 1783.

    This was the war fought in america between the southern and northern states. This was was fought over slavery with north being against it and south being for it. It was one of the bloodiest of american conflicts and ended with the north victorious and slavery abolished.

    In the middle of the play that the president was watching, John Booth came behind the president and shot him in the back of the head. The president died the next morning. shortly after Booth refused to surrender to authorities and was killed.
