Terrorists from Afaganastan plotted to bring terror and damage to our country. They struck to airplanes into the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center in New York City, as well as hit the Pentagon building, where our country's armed force's headquater laid. Some believe a fourth plane was also headed to the Capital Building in Washington D.C.; however, the passengers aboard that plane stopped the terrorist from doing so. Thousands died on that fateful day, and it is a major event in US history. -
