    Foreign policy: Guam is a self-governing territory of the United States of America. It is the largest island in Micronesia, about one third of its total land area of 540 square kilometers is occupied by U.S. Military facilities.

    -Austria gave an uktimatum to serbia and then invaded serbia to average the assination.ferdinand and Sophie were shot and the archduke and his wife were rushed away to seek medical attention but both died within the hour.
  • Start of ww1

    The assessination of archduke set off a chain of events that would lead to the start or world war 1 nearly one month later. The German army then launched its attack on Russia's ally, France, through Belgium, violating Belgian neutrality and bringing Great Britain into the war as well.

    In 1915, the Lusitania left New York City for Liverpool. A German submarine sank this British passengers ship, killing more than 1000 passengers, including 128 Americans. The sinking of the Lusitania enraged opinion in the United States.

    A French ship that provided Derry service on the English Channel. After a submarine attacked the ship in 1916, killing more than 50 passengers, president Wilson threatened to break off relations with Germany. Germany pledged not to sink any more ocean liners without prior warning or providing help to passengers.
