Some tenement life was hard for people to buy things life food or water. Some of the people could not take showers because there power and water got turned off. -

In the 1890s there was no room in some places to build more houses so some people lived on the streets, in the woods. If they could they would be cutting down the trees in the woods and building houses there where it is quiet. -

People had to walk or drive to different places or states because there was no more room where they was at and they could not build houses. You would see people on the streets because they didnt have know way to get to a new place, cant afford it, or didnt walk there. -

In thed 1890s there was not enogh police to work in some cities because it was hard to find good help in town, or otheer police would not show up from other states. People would always break in places and take anything they could. -

It would be bad if all the police got shot and died because people would go crazy and start a war. They would run all over the place woundering what they are going to do and will probaly pack up and go some where else where there is a better protection.
