My brother broke my collar bone.
When I was five years old i was riding in the wagon of my brothers tractor and he turned the corner too fast and dumped me out. I landed on the pavement and started crying. My mom came out and thought I was being dramatic and sent me to my room to take a nap. I woke up later and soon my mom realized that I needed to go to the doctor. We went in and the x-rayed me and indeed found my collarbone to be broken. -
1st place with my drill team at Door County Competition.
Shawano County 4-H Drill Team is a team riders under the age of 20 that perform drill routines to music at the Shawano fair, Wausau Fair, and the Door County Competition. This was my first year on the team and will always be the most memorable. -
Received my black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do.
I had worked for eight years to receive my black belt. I started taking classes through the Pulaski PACE program and soon became more involved in it. I was taking up to six hours of classes a week and soon enough I was testing for my black belt. -
Tore my ACL.
I tore my ACL two summers ago while playing soccer. There isn't much to this story other than the recovery time was the worst. It was a whole year before I was cleared to do everything but my doctor advised me that if I wanted to stay out of his office for the rest of my youthful life I would follow a few small steps such as no tubing, kneeboarding, water skiing, and simply shuffling my feet when walking on ice. -
Rolled my Dad’s four wheeler.
I was home alone and was driving around. I went to back up and apparently was going to fast. My dad's four wheeler had rolled over the top of me and back on its side. After being dizzy for a bit I stood up and called my neighbor to come and help me. He came over and we got it back up and put it away before my dad got home. I wasn't going to tell my dad because I didn't think anything was wrong. I was just going to tell my brother, but the windshield was smashed so I had to. -
Top 10 at State Horse Expo.
I have been down to compete at state 4 times. I have placed in other classes but never the two classes that I wanted to place in the most, Showmanship and Western Pleasure. I worked really hard and when it came to be time for the fair I placed second place in my western pleasure class. The judge told me to improve my consistency before state. After only a month of training I was competing down at state. I went into my class, got called back, and took six out of 45 riders . -

Traveled abroad to Peru.
I traveled with some of my classmates and teachers to do a small study abroad in Cusco, Peru. We had 10 days there and even got to go to Machu Picchu. -
Spent my entire first paycheck.
I got my first real job at Maplewood Meats in February last year. It came payday and I was so excited. I received my paycheck and the next day I went out with friends and spent the whole thing. I was so nervous my dad was going to find out and soon enough he did. He confronted me and sat me down for a long talk about being responsible and saving money. A long talk about several life lessons. -
Went in the ditch with my car.
I was swerving and soon enough was stuck in the ditch. I called our insurance agent and he had told me to call 1-800-AMFAM. I called and after 2 hours a guy named Larry came and pulled me out. I then had to call my dad and explain everything. It was a long phone call but was another life lesson.
