This famous battle left the Texans devastates by the Mexicans but kept them strong. They had a phrase, "Remember the Alamo!" for those who were lost in that battle. This was a turning point in the Texas Revolution. -

This was the final battle of the Texas Revolution. This had the Texans well prepared and they won the battle with ease, with only 9 Texans dying. -

This decision made the African-Americans enraged with the American view on them. They said that the African-Americans weren't citizens and didn't have the rights. This showed the corrupt ways of the past in views of just race. -
13th Amendment Passed
When this amendment was passed, all slaves became free. They were now citizens of the United States. They weren't considered non-human anymore (except by the people who heavily encouraged discrimination before). -
