A commite was formed to estanblish independance from Britan. America was ready to become their own country and A few men took action. They wrote a document establishing their independance. -
The Louisinana Purchase
The Louisiana Purchase was a purchase of land from the French. It was bought for 15 million dollars by president Thomas Jefferson. This great purchase nearly doubled the size of the United States and gave America control of the Mississippi river. -
The Lewis and Clark expedition
The Lewis and Clark expedition was led by explorers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark who set out to explore the American West. Purpose of the expedition was to explore the purchase and bring back new plants and animal species with acurate maps of the west. -

The texas revolution began in 1836 when the spanish welocomed Americans into Texas. Once the Spanish believed that the Texans were gaining too much power. Once this began the Spanish goverment tried to kick the Americans out of Texas but the Americans refused. This triggered many famous battles between America and Mexico which America won. the trail of tears
In 1838 president Andrew Jackson passed the indian removal act forcing all indians to be relocated into a indian reserve. On the way many Indians died and had many devestating effects. The migration route is now called the trail of tears. -
The donner party
While on a journey from Illonois to California the group called the Donner party decided to take a supposably quicker route to California. Instead they ended up encountering rough terrain and many delays. Shortly after the group of about 90 got caught in a early snow storm. Due to much hunger the group turned to Cannibalism. -
The Fugivitve Slave Act
The fugivitve slave act began in 1850 when the law was passed. The fugitive slave act was a law that allowed runaway slaves in who lived in free states to be returned to their owners. This also increased heavier punishment on runaway slaves once returned. -
Uncle Toms cabin
Uncle Toms Cabin was a anit-slavery book written by Harriet Breacher Stow. The book told the real story of how slavery was and became extreamly popular. It encouraged many people to join the abolistinist movement. -
bleeding kansas
Bleeding Kansas was the period of violence during the settlement in Kansas. The Kansas-Nebraska act was put into place and gave people the chance to vote if it should be a free or slave state. People attempted to influence the decision and much fighting began. -
attack on Fort Sumter
Fort Sumter was in need of supplies and told the confederates they were having supplies delivered. The confederates attacked the fort before supplies were delivered. The Fort was surrendered and a uprising began. -
Death of Abe LIncoln
On April 14, 1865, president LIncoln was at a theater. John WIlkes Booth snuck up behind Lincoln and shot him in the back of the head. Booth felt it was the right thing to do because Lincoln was supporting African American rights. -
The holocaust
Adolf Hitler and his Nazi regime were responsible for 11 million deaths of jews and other races and religions. This event forever changed the course of history. WIth the extintion of many races. -
HItlers death
On April 30, 1945, in Berlin Germany HItler killed himself. He was being chased by many enimies so Hitler shot himself. This event ended the whole Nazi regime. -

Thurgood Marshall argues against segregation in spureme court case. He made a case becusae segregation was not fair. After this case Segregation became illegal in public places. -

In January 1964 nike was founded. The shoes were advertised very well and got popular quick. Now the nike shoe is the nuber one shoe company in the whole world. -
Seattle Seahawks esetablishment.
On June 4, 1974, the Seattle Seahawks football team was established in Seattle Washington. The team first tooke the feild in 1974. To this day the Seahawks are one of the best teams in the world. -
Death of Elvis
Elvis had been struggling and had been assinged a prescription drug. Presley overdosed on the drugs and had a heart attack and died. -

On 9/11 terroist group attack WTC and pentagon. Bin Laden and his group were responsible for the attack influenced by hate. About 3,000 inoccent people were killed because of this. -

Seattle Seahawks win the super bowl.
In 2014 the seattle Seahawks football team won the super bowl, The team beat the Denver Broncos 43-8. The seahawks played a great game to be able to beat the Broncos.
