His friends thought that it would be hard to get a fair trial. -

The Nixon's move to New York and they become involved in activity and later they moved to New Jersey and Nixon became on the national scene again. He gave advice to anybody who would listen. Republicans were still wary of the public's reaction to Nixon but were interested in his opinions about foreign affairs. -
Nixon Dies

Nixon's Legacy
The tapes shape Nixon's impact and it ended his presidency by proof of the Watergate cover up. It made the generation skeptical about political leaders and provide evidence today of the calculation behind the most important decisions of his presidency. His presidency was a lesson between image and reality and each generation must learn. -
Most Reviled President
He is most of the time the object of mockery and hate such as in animated shows like the Simpsons or films such as the Watchmen. Americans use the suffix "gate" for public scandals subsequent to Watergate. Nixon is talked about more than the other presidents because he was insecure and petty and it amuses people. A successful politician wouldn't express opinions contrary to the official party line.
