  • When is thanksgiving?

    Many of the first settlers that came to Virginia they weren't looking for religious freedom but to get rich. The pilgrims and puritans were two different types of people. The pilgrims believed more in the churhc of new england and the puritans didn't believe much in the prosident of england.
  • "Under god"

    Many people didn't know that the phrase 'under god' wasn't included until the flag day in 1954 which was 60 years ago today. Francis Beliamy in 1892 wrote the plege of allegiance.
  • Who gets to work at abercrombie?

    Samantha Elauf was 17 when she applied at abrocrombie. When she went into her job interview she was wearing a normal shirt, jeans but she was also wearing a headscarf. She was an observant muslim. She never got the job beccause of her religion.
  • In god we believe

    In maryland 1961 they forbidded people who didn't believe in god to hold any place in office also Ronald Raegaen once said "If we ever forget we are one nation under god, then we will be a nation gone under" One of the presidents was a believer of god and it's hard to understand that at a time many people couldn't hold place in office because of their belief.
