    Washington militia made Fort Necessity and the French had Fort Duquesne. They where fighting each other for the Ohio river valley.

    This let people be searched without out being told what they are getting searched for. People thought this was another violation of there rights.
  • Pontiac's war

    Pontiac was the leader of Ottawa. After the French and Indian War, he allied with western native Americans so that they could attack the British forts.

    This proclamation drew a line along the Appalachian mountain to separate the British and Native Americans.

    This act taxed a lot of products like molasses. They used this act to pay their war debt.

    They started the Stamp Act to pay for their troops stationed in the seven-year war. This tax was put on newspaper, documents, and playing cards.

    People who were not happy with the Tea Act dressed up as Mohawk Indians and poured the tea into the Boston harbor.

    The battle on Lexington and Concord was also known as "the shot heard around the world". Paul Revere was ahead of the British and warned people by saying "The British are coming"

    Used to launch cannon attacks on the British. The British suffered really badly that they ended up leaving by sea.

    The Declaration of Independence was drafted by Thomas Jefferson. This document was basically saying that they wanted there own freedom from britian and said everyones rights that they will get with this declaration.

    Valley Forge was a camp in Pennsylvania where Washingtons troops stayed. They suffred becasue they had no prper clothing for the winter and they where not fed and housed.

    France was th first nation to sign a treaty with U.S. They signed this treaty because they wanted to see Britian defeated. They didnt help the U.S until they knew for sure that they could defeat Britian.

    Met in Philadelphia. Started printing money to form an army. Started acting like a government.

    Cornwallis moved he main troops to Yorktown. The French navy also chased British ships out and Cornwallis wasnt aware of this so he got trapped and surrendered
  • Treaty of Paris

    This treaty was seen as the offical end of war. Britian also reconized that the U.S should get there own indepence.
