Social Security Act
On August 14, 1935, the Social Security Act established a system of old-age benefits for workers, benefits for victims of industrial accidents, unemployment insurance, aid for dependent mothers and children, the blind, and the physically handicapped. -
Reorganization Act
An American Act of Congress which gave the President of the United States the authority to hire additional confidential staff and reorganize the executive branch (within certain limits) for two years subject to legislative veto. It was the first major, planned reorganization of the executive branch of the government of the United States since 1787] The Act led to Reorganization Plan No. 1, which created the Executive Office of the President. -
WWII Begins
It has finally happened, the next World War has begun. Germany has decided to invade Poland, eradicating many Jews through out Europe creating conflicts with other countries. A divide is created and the war has begun. -
Pearl Harbor
The attack on Pearl Harbor was a surprise military strike by the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service against the United States naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii Territory, on the morning of December 7, 1941. -
Korematsu v. U.S
America had begun a hate regime against Japanese people. Internment camps became quite normal and Korematsu decided to take that up in court. He lost, but later the American government realized their mistake and acted accordingly. -
Germany Surrenders
It is the beginning of the end. Germany was beginning to run out of resources and decides to cease. They concede to defeat and this leads to the end of WWII.
