The Province of Pennsylvania is founded by William Penn after signing a treaty with the natives of that area. -
Schenectady Massacre
It was an attack on a village in the Colony of New York. Canadians and Mohawks attacked the village which was unguarded and killed 60 people. This event caused all the people of New York to join and have a common enemy, who was New France. -
King William’s War
It was the first war of other six colonial wars and was fought between New England and New France, they both had help from their native allies, the result of this conflict was the treaty of Ryswick. -
The Beaver Wars
It was a campaign of wars of the Iroquois against other Tribes who had the French support. The Iroquois won. This caused their territory to continue growing. -
The Drummer’s War
It was a war between New England and the Wabanaki Confederacy who where allies of New France. The result was the Drummer’s treaty. -
King Gorge’s War
It took place in New York and Massachusetts, the most important event in this war was the capture of the French fortress of Louisburg. The outcome was the treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle. -
French and Indian War
It was a war between the British and the French with the help of the Indians. It created the treaty of Paris. -
Golden Hill Incident
Some British soldiers wounded a group of civilians (the sons of liberty), only killing one. This was a spark to future conflicts. -
The Boston Massacre
It happened when a group of British troops fire at a group of people who where demonstrating against the British colony. This was a sparkle to other fights that happened some years after the event, only 5 people died after one threw a snow ball at a British solider. -
The Tea Act
It had the purpose of reducing tea that the British East India Company had on its possession in its warehouse in London. This caused to have no taxes when exporting the tea to North America -
Battle of Lexington and Concord
It was the first battles of the American Revolutionary War. This battle was important because the US showed that it was able to put up a fight to one of the most powerful armies in the world. The US also won that battle but later lost a lot of the others. -
US declaration of independence
It declared the US independence from England. It also included an explanation of why they should be free and some complains they had to the British royals. -
Industrial Revolution
It was a time of industrialization in the USA, people started changing from people to work for the to more machines that could do the job better. -
US civil war
It was a war between the North who was called “The Union” and the South who was called “The Confederacy” . The main spark for this conflict was the controversy caused by the south having slaves. The North won and ended slavery.
