Formation of concentration camps
concentration camp refers to a camp in which people are detained or confined, usually under harsh conditions and without regard to legal norms of arrest and imprisonment that are acceptable in a constitutional democracy. The germans japanese and even Americans used these to contain POW's but the nazis used them to contain jews and turned these camps into death camps. -
Nuremburg Laws passing
The nuremberg laws acted as a racial divide between the jews and other citizens in Germany Hitler passed these laws and they were almost like Jim Crow laws in the sense that they wouldn't let jews eat certain places or go into certain buildings and they also made jews wear the star of david to identify them.This eventually led to harsher discrimination and further dehumanized jews. -
Munich Pact
The munich pact was an agreement between Mussolini, Hitler, And the British chamberlain that allowed Hitler to annex the Sudetenland in an attempt to appease Hitler. The idea was to allow him Sudetenland but only if he agreed not to take any other land. Hitler signed but did not Follow his agreements. -
