    [French and indian war (more details)](http//www.ushistory.org/declaration/related/proc63.htm) The french and indian war was a war about the french and African Americans fighting against the Indians to see who would get what land.The plan was that Britan would send over 1800 troops to the Americas to try and get the french and the natives out of the Americas. George washington,(our first president) volenteered with the britans to try and get them out and they did in the Ohio Vally.

    The british thoght that the colonists had gone to far, they dumped their tea that they were getting cheaply and so now the british weren't focaused not on the taxes but on keeping the colonist under control. The british wanted to punish them and teach them what is right. like when a 5 year old does something wrong and you punish them but in this case the colonists are the 5 year old and the british are the parents.
