The Industrial Revolution is an age where multiple significant inventions are made known. Some of these inventions are: the light bulb, the diesel engine, the telephone, and more still used today. -
Imperialism
The Spanish-American War was a conflict between Spain and America. This War dragged on for three years trying to resolve conflicts. The Americans got great things out of this like Hawaii, and the creation of the Panama Canal. -
World War One
World War One all started with a Serbian who killed an Austrian Noble which made both of the countries allies mad. The United States got involved in the War in 1917 after the Zimmerman Telegraph was sent from Germany but intercepted by The United States' ally, Britain. -
Prohibition and the Roaring 20's
The 1920s was a very fun time for some people. The United States was prospering economicaly and everybody partied and women pulled away from their victorian relatives look and way of life. This included short haircuts, shorter dresses, more rights, etc. -
The Great Depression and the New Deal
The Great Depression started when the stock market crashed in 1929.After this event, everything was downhill. People lost their jobs, posessions were taken away, Things where promissed but never given to people, etc. -
World War Two
World War Two is the War of Adolf Hitler. He led the German group named the Nazis to dominate the world he wanted to exterminate of all Jewish people by taking them and most other people to concentration camps to die or get torchered. -
Pearl Harbor
This attack by the Japanesse brougth the United States into WWII. The attack was on a bay in Hawaii by bombing Naval ships and creating Havoc. -
The Cold War
The Cold War was a time of Comunism and Democracy. The United States was in very deep with the Soviet Union when the United States tried every thing to help the comunism stop. -
The Korean War
The Korean War was a part of the Cold war due the to the issue with comunism in the North. The Koreans aere relentless to keep their rules the same even through multiple battles. -
The Vietnam War
The Vietnam War is another war deciding communism between North and South Vietnam. The North takes over of the South and becomes non-comunist. -
The Gulf War
The United States and 34 other nations combine to go to war with Iraq sue to Iraq's invasion. There was massive ammounts of poulution after this war and some gulf war veterans are in bad ways today. -
September 11th
On this day, two airplanes where flew into the twin towers in New York City and killed lots of people working in the buildins. Another Airplane was planed to fly into the Pentagon but passengers onboard stopped the terrorist and risked their lives to do it. -
Operation Enduring Freedom
The conflict is ongoing in Afgahnistain on the war on Terror. The Mojrity of the people there are Muslim and the United states is still trying to keep them from causing more terrorism. -
Operation Iraqi Freedom
The conflict in Iraq started with the United States invading to keep things under control followed with years of fighting.
