True You Janet Jackson

  • Emotional Insecurity

Janet was a different kind of kid. She liked sitting in cars alone. She also enjoyed listening to the rain as it calmed her down. Janet didn't think she was pretty as her sisters, especially Rebbie. Her brothers would tease her. This was normal but it still bothered her.
  • Good Times

My acting career began on a serious note. Mother took me for the audition for the show "Good Times." The producers felt that I was took big and they flattened my chest. The people on the show were like my second family. My role was playing an abused daughter. Acting allowed me to hide my shyness and get into the role of the character.
  • Weight Struggle

For most of her life, Janet was rediculed about her weight. As a child she was teased at home and at school. She had tried to cover it up by smiling a lot acting like she was happy with herself, but inside she was sad and uncomfortable. At age 21, she realized that she had worried about her weight for too long.
  • Conquering the Weight

Janet went to see nutritionist, David Allen. During her working with him, she went back and forth gaining and losing weight. He had to put her on a 21 Day Ultraclense program. After that she learned that diets didn't work. Diets are temporary. She had to make a lifestyle change. And she did.
  • Loving Life Today

Now Janet has never been happier. She is starring in movies. She is at peace with herself and God. She is making number one dance hits. She is looking forward and not behind.
