    Poseidon makes himself invisible except for his trident. He approaches Great Ajax, Little Ajax, and Teucer. He begins to poke at them with his trident. This pierces their skin, and the saltwater pours into their blood, filling them with strength from the power of the golden trident. This gave the Greeks the energy and courage to charge over the Trojan line, sending them into battle. This caused the trojans to retreat.

    Zeus' threat

    Zeus' threat
    After being awoken by Hera's laugh, Zeus looks down on Earth and sees the chaos Poseidon has caused fighting the Trojans. As Poseidon stands by the sea, Zeus fires a lightning bolt right next to Poseidon in the water, turning the sea into steam. Zeus considered this a warning and warned Poseidon to not fight the Trojans otherwise he would there would be dire consequences.

    Apollo comes to Earth

    Apollo comes to Earth
    Apollo was sent to Mt. Ida to meet Zeus. Zeus instructed Apollo to go to the Trojans and restore their strength to prevail as Poseidon did to his warriors. So he took his wheel off his chariot and flew to Earth. He used his wheel to shine like the sun, which eliminated any fears from the Trojans. He sees Hector in brutal condition after being crushed by a boulder. Apollo focuses his light on him and heals him immediately. This gave every Trojan hope, and this led them to attack the Greeks.

    Ulysses' discussion with Achilles
    As the battle wages, Patroclus heads over to Achilles' tent to ask for his armor. Achilles only agrees to it as long as he does not have to fight in the war. He must also use the armor long enough to save the ships of the Greeks.

    The counterattack
    After the Trojans waged a battle against the Greeks, the Greeks saw how confident and powerful the Trojans had appeared. The Greeks knew the Trojans had another powerful god aiding them. Poseidon knew he and his army had to flee, knowing they would be no match for the Trojan's power.
