The first Steam Powered car
It was made in france by William Murdoch and Richard Trevithick. They got the idea from Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot. -
The First Trains And Railroads
Horse drawn carriages were the first things to travel on railroads before Trains were made. Trains are made out of steel and the first train could pull up to 10 tons of iron and 70 passengers at a speed of 5mph. -
The First Cable Car
Andrew Smith Hallidie tested the first cable car August 2nd, 1873, on Clay Street, in San Francisco. Hallidie partnered up to make the Clay Street Hill Railroad, they started building a cable line on Clay Street in May of 1873. The contract to operate on city streets stated the line must be operational by August 1st. They launched on August 2nd. Even though they were a day late the cable car trials received great approval. Clay Street Hill Railroad began public service on September 1st, 1873. -
Cars in the 20th Century
People started to make more and more cars like Nissan and Chrysler. People made their cars better and they made them much faster. -
Cars In The 21st
In the 2000s people started to make their cars faster and cooler. They now have solar powered cars like the Immortus, and flying cars that are coming out in 2020.
