hovercraft . It was invented in the 1950s, in the UK by Cristopher Cockrell. It skims over the water on a cushion of air.
Christpher Cockrell, was born on June 9, 1781 in England. He died in 1999 the 1st of june, aged 89 years. He became popular with her invention, called Hovercraft. The idea of creating the invention occurred to him, because he thinks that if the entire craft were lifted from the water, the craft would effectively have no drag. -
Jet ski
One of the most recent inventions is the jet ski. It was invented in 1973, in the UK by Clayton Jabsobsen. Nowadays, you can move on water in a basic canoe, a sailing boat, a jet ski or in a huge ocean liner.
