Ptolmey
Ptolmey was the first to theorise about the planets orbiting a central object. His theory was that the Earth was at the center of the Solar System, this was called "Geocentric" Geo meaning Earth and centric meaning center. -

This was the first artificial sattelite into space, it took 98 minutes to orbit earth, and it marked the beginning of the U.S., U.S.S.R. space race. -

This was the first manned orbital mission, it completed 3 orbits, it was piloted by John Glenn.The mission took 4 hours 55 minutes and 23 seconds. -
Apollo 11
This was the first mission to the moon. Manned by Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins. The trip took 8 days, 3 hours, 18 minitues, and 35 seconds. -
Aristotle
Aristotle believed the universe to be Geocentric too, but he also theorised that the sun and stars were much bigger than earth and that the orbits of all celestial objects were circular therefore able to continue that way infinitley
