This is a philosophical movement that took place in Europe and later in North America. This movement change the way people think, now humans are more important than anything else. It took place from the 17th century to the 18th century. -
Seven years war
Also known as French and Indian war. This two countries were fighting because they want land but the biggest thing was trade, money. -

British didn´t wanted to buy things from French. They started implementing taxes to sugar so people didn`t buy more things from French. -
Boston Massacre

Boston Tea Party
The British living in America weren`t happy with all the taxes so they throw away tea on Boston`s sea. They wanted to express that they weren`t British anymore so they wanted representation. -

The Independence war took place from 1775-1783. The new "Americans" wanted representation. -

Congress declared the Revolution war is over. Britain and U.S. sign the Treaty of Paris were they formally recognized the United States as an independent nation.

The first 10 amendments to the U.S. Constitution are ratified. This 10 rights are about freedom. They were proposed by the congress.
