Thomas Savery invented the first commercially used steam powered engine. It was very important not only for the mineral industry, but for the tourism industry because it could transport people from one place to another.

Thomas Wedgwood made the first known attempt to capture the image in a camera obscura. This revolutionized the world of tourism to the point of becoming an essential tool when you travel. A photo can bring the world to anyone without moving.

Launched by Thomas Cook, they were created to make tour packages that can move lot of people and make it more comfortable for people who want to travel to hire a trip because the agency staff take care of it.

The Cave of Altamira

Located in Cantabria and discovered by the archaeologist Marcelino Sanz de Sautuola. Its famous for its ancient paintings and has been declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Because of that, lot of people come here interested un the past of human being and culture.

World Travel Market London

Launched at London's Olympia, it attracts 46,000 senior travel industry professionals, goverment ministers and representativa of the international media. It's one of the most important fairs in the UK for the global travel industry.

The Berlin Wall

It was a barrier that divided Berlin and its demolition was completed in 1992. It suppossed the begin of a new country and the freedom of thousands of germans. From that moment, travel to Germany completely changed.
