Toddlerhood

  • Attachment between parents.

    Attachment between parents.
Toddlers always have a different attachment towards the parents. Toddlers may be more attached to their mothers because their fathers tend to do less child chores than the mothers do. And the toddlers have different attachment with their father because the father plays with them differently. photo credit: lifehaschanged.com

    Social Interactions
Toddlers begin to develop preferences with familiar faces rather than strangers or unfamiliar people. But when toddlers are around other children their age they seem to adapt well around them. When children are interacting with children their age they are able to learn a lot of new things. photo credit: www.womenconfidentials.com -
  • Gender plays a role

    Gender plays a role
As soon as parents found out the sex of their child they begin planning activites they will attend what girly/boyish color their nursery will be. I believe children are learned to prefer toys and certain things based on their gender. Now, I do believe girls are more emotion and attention oriented than boys. Boys tend to play independently and rough than girls.

  • Childcare

    Childcare
If children are forced to go to childcare due to having both working parents, the best you can try to provide for them is high quality child care. Children who are not raised or cared for to the best of their ability will suffer from development issues. And if a child is consistently with different caregivers rather than the mother they will not have an attachment to their mother.
