William Shakespeare is important to both literature and drama. Shakespeare wrote many famous pieces that were used for plays some including: Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, and many more. -

I believe this event is important because of the events it lead to later on. But it is also important because it lead to the Treaty of Versailles. -
Treaty of Versailles
The Treat of Versailles is important because it made Germany pay reparations for WWI, which sent Germany into a economic downfall. Which then fueled Hitler's rage, which he talks about in Mein Kampf. -
Joseph Stalin-Five Year Plan
This event is important because it caused a mass genocide because of the expectation put on the citizens of the USSR(The genocide is now called Holodomor). But it also built us the USSR's economy and gave them a lot of power. -

World War Two was one of the most horrific wars in history, and still affects people today. This is important because their is few people to tell stories of the horrific events as a first witness. -

Even though it was an ideological war, this was still a war that was affecting the United States. This was a fight between Communism which has been shown to have really bad affects on countries and their citizens. This event stood out to me because of how a war can be something that we don't see in movies or on the TV. -
Vietnam War
This is important because of its effects on the American Economy. Money is already an everyday problem but if you go into an economic downfall like this one, it can be quite hard to survive. -
Tiananmen Square Massacre
This is one of the last things we talked about, but it is important because this also shows the power people have under a dictatorship. Tiananmen Square was supposed to be a peaceful square that showed unity, but that unity was destroyed.
