In middle school, my 7th-grade history teacher had us take a popular pop song and change the lyrics in a way that acted as a recap for the lesson we learned in class. -
Kahoot Review
In high school, we would use Kahoot for any kind of class. I vividly remember my freshman biology teacher using this tool as review for upcoming exams in the class. -
School Loop
While this is not used in my old high school anymore, this application was how students were able to view their own grades and assignments from their courses all at once. -
Naviance
During my Junior year, Naviance was introduced to us as a way of finding the colleges we wanted to apply to. It was a website that allowed us to make lists of the colleges we were considering applying to, as well as courses we may be interested in taking in order to discover what major we wanted to pursue. -
Google Classroom
When Covid-19 forced us to all go online, some of my teachers used google classroom as a form of discussion between classmates since we could not have them in person.
