  • Holocaust

    The Holocaust was a mass genocide which was done by Germany under the reign of Adolf Hitler. Jews and many other religions were targeted during the holocaust. About 17 million people were killed during the holocaust, this was the biggest genocide ever.

  • Start of World War 2

    The Treaty of Virsialles and Germany seeking for revenge were on of the main causes for World War 2. Economic downturn for Germany also was a main cause for the war, and also along with Nazi ideology. Last major thing that caused World War 2 was the failure of German appeasement

  • Battle of Britain

    The battle of Britain was when Germany sent large scale attacks on Britain. It was a military campaign in which the Royal Air Forces defended the U.K. The primary reason for this attack was to compel Britain to sign a peace treaty.

  • Pearl Harbor

    The attack on Pearl Harbor was a surprise attack by the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Force against the United States Naval base at pearl harbor. The reason for this attack was to prevent the United States from interfering from Japan's military actions. The attack on Pearl Harbor caused the United States to enter World War Two.

  • Battle of Stalingrad

    The Battle of Stalingrad was the largest confrontation in World War 2, in which Germany fought the soviet union for the city Stalingrad. In that battle over 1.2 to 2 million people have been estimated to have died.

  • D-Day

    The Normandy Landing were the landing operations of the allied Invasion of Normandy. This was the largest sea landing in history. The allied invasion failed to reach any of there goals on the first day of D-Day. Over 425,000 allied and German troops were killed.

  • Atomic Bombings

    After pearl harbor attacks the United States had to strike back. The two atomic bombings resulted in over a million people total dead.

  • End of World War 2

    The war ended with all of the axis powers surrendering, the alliances accepted the surrender. About a week after all of the axis powers Adolf Hitler committed suicide. For many years Germany was left under major devastation
