First Album released

I Bet That You Look Good On The Dance Floor is released and goes straight to #1 on the UK Single Charts. -

"Scummy", later on re-named to "When The Sun Goes Down" is released and goes straight to #1 like I Bet You Look Good On The Dance Floor. -

Andy Nicholson leaves the Band
The Band announces that Andy Nicholson will not take part in the upcoming North American Tour. -
