    June 28th of 1914, the great war.. known as WW1 had began due to this unfortuneate event. On this day Archduke Franz Ferdidnand had been assasinated in Bosnia by a Serbian terrorist group, also known as "the black hand". Summer of 1914, Franz Ferdidnand and his wife Sophie, had accepted an invatation to visit the capital of Bosnia, Sarajevo. Franz had been informed of terrorist activity conducted by the nationalist organization the black hand. They ignored this info and made a wrong turn.

Soldiers from both sides had put their weapons down instead of fighting they walked towards eachother and shook hands. They played football, talked about their familes, exchanged gifts, and even exchanged addresses in no mans land.

Map of Europe changed by adding 9 new nations due to nationalism. Those nations being, Finland, Austria, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Poland, Hungary, Lativa, Lithuania, and Estonia. Germany agreed to pay for ALL damages.
