Connie is very excited to start at a new school and make new friends. -

First Communion
Receiving communion for the first time was very important to Connie. It made her feel closer to God and it also made her feel more mature and older. -
Diagnosed with ADHD and Anxiety
Connie will need to try more in school than the other kids. She can overcome this but it won't be easy. She is very worried about being seen differently than the other kids, but starting medication has calmed her down -
Graduate from 5th Grade
Connie is very excited to be done with elementary school but is also very nervous for middle school. -

Start to question who they are and what is their identity. Attempt to establish identities in career, sexually, and politically, or are confused about who they are. -

Cut My Hair and Starting a new Regrowth
Connie has been suffering from anxiety and the damage she did to her hair will start the healing process. Connie is very excited about her new haircut and thinks it looks so cool. -
Holy Confirmation
Being confirmed in the Episcopal Church means Connie is now fully an adult member and can vote on church inquiries. This makes her feel very mature and older. -

Intimacy vs. Isolation
Look for companionship and love with another or become isolated from others living in fear. -
Highschool graduation
High school graduation marks an important movement from adolescence to adulthood. Going off to college will mean a transition of more independence. -
First Day of College
This shift in life encourages Connie to branch out more and fend for herself in the world. She must learn to manage her time more since she is no longer operating in a more scheduled and planned environment. -
Gets Engaged
Connie has found a companion with who she plans to spend the rest of her life. -
Graduates from College
graduating college has taught Connie more responsibility and now she can be successful in her career. -
Starts First Day as HR rep.
Having a salary job is an important step in Connie's future because it is where she will be finding income for the rest of her life until retirement. -
Gets married
Having a close romantic relationship gives life-long companionship for me and it is good for my well-being to have a person to rely on. -
Move into the first home
Investing in a home allows Connie to grow her family and makes her feel like shes creating a successful life for herself -
First Child is born
Connie’s maternal instincts start to develop and she grows an attachment to her new member of her family. -
second Child is born
With a new addition to Connie’s family, she finds new parenting techniques and how to properly care for her children. -
Returns to work after second child
Transitioning back to work after second child brought depression to Connie. With the feeling of not doing enough to care for her children by sending them to daycare. -
Gets promoted to head of HR
his promotion makes Connie feel successful in her career. -
First Child goes off to college
When Connie's first child goes off to college she is nervous for them and wants them to be protected and smart. She knows in order to keep a healthy mother-child relationship she should trust them and allow them to be independent. -
All Kids have moved out
The feeling of an empty nest leaves Connie feeling lonely and wants her children to come back and need her again. But she knows that she will still see her children and she is proud of them for being independent and successful. -
Begins the process of Menopause
As Connie ages, she starts to develop menopausal symptoms. This is causing her to change moods and to be more angry and depressed about things. She is also having irregular periods and more body pain. -
First Grandchild is born
Connie is very ecstatic about her new grandchild. She has the urge to spoil and protect the infant. -
Gets Lasik Eye Surgery
The gift of sight makes Connie feel young again. Even though it is a sign of her body aging this will slow down the process. -

Contribute to the next generation through meaningful work or become stagnant and inactive -
Move to a smaller home
Connie and her husband move to a smaller home so they can be closer to their family and they no longer need a larger home. This makes Connie think back on the memories and wishes that those times do not have to end. -
Second Grandchild is Born
The Birth of her second grandchild brings Connie immense joy especially since she gets to spend a lot more time with them. -

Integrity vs. Despair
Try to make the best out of life as aging or despairing at goals never reached and questions never answered. -
Retirement
Connie has decided that retirement is better for her and her spouse as they no longer require her income and have lots of savings (learned in mr. sell's econ class). She is excited to now be able to see her grandbabies more, and pick up more hobbies. -
50th Wedding Anniversary to France
For Connie and her husband's 50th anniversary, they take a trip to France. Doing so makes Connie think back on all of her fondest memories with her husband and the life they created together. -
Start going on daily walks
As Connie ages, it is better for her well-being that she takes up more exercise. -
Joins Women's Church Group
The companionship she finds in the Women's Church Group is good for Connie as she develops more bonds with people other than family. Connie thrives in more social settings. -
Hip Surgery
The hip surgery gave Connie the realization that she is not going to live forever and things are getting more difficult. The love from her family and church friends help her stay positive. -
Starts reading more
Reading helps pass the time and keep Connie's mind sharp. -
Starts watching Sop Operas
The daily sop operas keep Connie entertained throughout the day, and it allows her to rest her old and tired bones. -
Death
After my Death, I want to be remembered as a fun and loving mother to my children and hard-working business women at my company.
