Katie Pingilley was born!
I was born at Oakwood Hospital and weighed 7 pounds 8 ounces. -
Using a rattle
At this age, my favorite toy was a rattle. I knew how to shake it so it would make noise. -
On the move
I began to learn how to crawl around the house when I was about 8 months old, -
Seperation Anxiety
At this age, I did not like to be separted from my mother and would cry everytime she would leave the house without me. -
Learning new words
I know how to talk, but my words are limited. I am always asking my parents what things are. -
Preparing to play soccer
At this age, I was able to kick a soccer ball with my brother. -
Puppet Show
I loved to perform puppet shows for my family on Easter. -
First Bestfriend
My first bestfriend, Sam, moved in down the street and was in the same kindergarden class as me. -
Tooth Fairy
I love brushing my teeth and loved when the tooth fairy came when I lost my first tooth! -
Joking Around
I think knock knock jokes are funny and tell the same ones over and over again. -
Backyard Fun
All the neighborhood kids came over and played kickball in my backyard. Kicking the ball over ther fence was a home run! -
Middle School
My first year in middle school is about to start. All of my friends have a myspace page except me. My parents don't want me to be put at risk of cyber danger. -
Growing up
Since I hit a growth spurt, my mother took me shopping for new winter clothes. -
Lazy Time
I'd rather sleep than clean my room. I put off homework because I want to play on the computer instead. -
Changing apperance
Luckily, my skin is no longer prone to acne. I also exercise to maintain my health. -
Career decisions
I am certain about my career goals of becoming a social worker. -
Managing my time
Unlike my middle school years, I have mastered time management. I make sure my school work is done before I socialize with my friends or watch tv. -
Aging becoming noticable
My skin is thinner and less flexible. Wrinkles are more noticable around my eyes. -
Intelligence
My IQ continues to increase, particularly in my vocabulary and general knowledge. -
Happy Marriage
My husband and I have been married for 30 years and our happiness together is high and steady. -
Frequent Naps
I often wake up before dawn and take naps during the day. -
Memory
My memory isn't what it use to be. I have to write down all of my appointments and other important things I don't want to forget. -
Hoarding
My urge to hold onto familiar objects and possessions is increasing. It is hard for me to throw away things. -
Goodbye Companion
My husband has passed away and I have been recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. I moved in with my daughter so her and her family can help take care of me. -
Death
At the age of 82, I passed away peacefully in my sleep.
